The World Heritage Convention helps to protect Australia’s internationally valued sites, whether cultural, indigenous, historical or natural, and helps to ensure each site’s full potential and value through protection, conservation, awareness, education and developmental projects.

 

Australia has 18 World Heritage Sites which are protected by the World Heritage Convention. Of these 18 sites, all will be analysed to see the World Heritage Convention’s impact on the icons of Australia.
