Rachel Hall 'Dares to Lead'

16/03/2015
The Work Exposure in Government Programme (WEX) aims to provide high-performing Indigenous students in Years 11 and 12 with hands-on experience and information about job opportunities and career pathways in the Australian Government.

The initiative is led and delivered by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet which has invited Principals Australia Institute to source at least 25 students from its network of Dare to Lead schools across Australia .

Students selected to participate would ideally be interested in a career in government, have a record of academic achievement and come from areas in and around major centres of government employment.

Rachel Hall along with  two students from Ingham SHS  are the only successful applicants from North Queensland and were selected from a large number of applicants nationally!  Rachel will participate in a four-day residential WEX programme in Canberra from 23-26 March 2015.

If you teach or see Rachel, convey your well wishes for her acceptance into this program.
